- 'Aux input 3' is the power steering wire, already configured as 'Electrical Load 1'
- 'Aux out 6' is the thermofan
- 'Aux out 7' is the A/C fan
- 'Aux out 8' is the A/C compressor
It's not a bad start, but we can improve on things by registering some of these outputs as electrical loads. The Adaptronic E420C links the logic only outputs to the logic only inputs, enabling us to do this trick:
The first step is to fire up WARI and go to the 'Aux Out' tab, from here you'll want to configure one of the logic only outputs (Aux out 9-13). It doesn't matter which one you pick as long as the corresponding logic only input is free, you can check this from the 'Digital Inputs' tab. Let's assume you've chosen to use 'Aux out 9'.
Configure the output with exactly the same logic as the output you're wanting to monitor. For example; if you want to know when the thermofan turns on, configure Aux out 9 with exactly the same parameters as Aux out 6 (see list above). I've set mine to 'Water Temp, 90 / 92':

The next step is to go to the 'Digital Inputs' tab and configure Aux input 9 with the type 'Electrical Load x'. I've gone with Electrical Load 2, and I've ticked the 'Active High' tickbox. You can tell if you need Active High or not by pressing F11 and monitoring the electrical load indicator you specified. If it's on when it's meant to be off and vice versa, then go with the other setting:

The configured electrical load can now be used for open loop idle extra effort settings under the 'Idle' tab .
